Professor Jonathon Gray is the director of Ko Awatea, a hub of education, improvement and innovation that supports health systems and public services and is embedded within the Counties Manukau District Health Board in Aotearoa New Zealand. Jonathon has more than thirty years’ experience in the field of health. Not only is he a doctor with specialist expertise in medical genetics and public health, he also holds numerous visiting fellowships at organisations in the UK including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Furthermore, Jonathon is the professor of Health Innovation and Improvement at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, with visiting Chairs at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and Cardiff University.
